- Make sure the surface is clean and free of any dust. Ensure the surface has a high gloss finish.
- Cut out the decal, try to cut as close to the graphic as possible.(do not cut in squares, should be cut with round corners)
BLUE BACKING PAPER-Soak cut decals in distilled water for 20 - 30 seconds till decal slides freely on paper.(Time will vary-the warmer the water the quicker the decals will release )Don't remove decal from paper (paper is needed to help position decal on the model.
WHITE BACKING PAPER(neons & metallics) Using warm water soak till decal slides freely on paper.(Time will vary 30 seconds or more )Don't remove decal from paper. The paper is needed to help position decal on the model)
- Apply water and/or Microset (optional)to the surface of model. Using water with a few drops of Microset is ideal.
- Remove decals from water and place on model surface, gently slide decals off paper onto surface. Once decal is in place remove excess water with q-tip, paper towel or soft paint brush
